Pete will host a demonstration, where he will transform an empty barrel into an aquaponic set up, which will then be raffled off on the day. I started gardening about 6 years back, knowing nothing at the time; still no little.
Have a 4 raised bed veggie patch, numerous ongoing pots that are at different stages for planting out either into the veggie patch or the fruit orchard. the orchard is mainly made up of sub-tropicals along with the normal backyard specimens.
There is also a more recent native food corridor which will be built up progressively with rainforest eadible natives.
I see a lot from other peoples gardens and hopefully will pick up and retain a little more information each time.
From my experience, it is not necessary to add the previous juice back to the jar. I accidentally wash the mushroom very clean using filtered water, the kombucha tea came out alright. I think I only put the juice back once in the last 5 months. I keep forgettting. If the tea got a problem, I can always supply you with another scoby.
