I am a diabetic, so ideally I need to eat organic food, but it is too expensive so I have been researching online and reading about how to start a very small veggies garden as well as preparing on how to preserve and keep it after harvesting. I am under a strict budget, so I am not looking to waste money on crops going wrong and I have never grown or had anybody in my family growing anything. No matter how much I research and how many videos I watch, there are so many things I don't understand. So It would be great if I join community gardens or veggie garden groups that will help me start it. I hope this will not be a pain in the bud for people that know what they are doing.
Skills and/or knowledge I would like to share
I know how to cook and currently experimenting with making my kombucha, sour breads, yoghurt, cheese, etc. I am also familiar with homemade natural remedies. I think that as I become familiar with gardening my own produce. I will be able to adjust lots of the recipes I know into healthy versions.
