We are very lucky to have George Allen, past president of the Subtropical Fruit Club joining us for the afternoon. He will be conducting a fruit tree workshop at Karen & Stephens permaculture garden.Karen and Stephen live on a 1 and 1/4 acre block in Jimboomba. "HI Marilyn, I have heard the one in the 2nd and 3rd photo being called a 'Castor Oil' plant. A noxious weed. Often grows beside rivers or creeks. I can't guarantee that definition."

Fancy a nice cool day at a turmeric farm in Springbrook? We are going for a trip up the mountain into the rainforest! If you would like to carpool meet at the Logan Hyperdome outside of Westpac/ BOQ/ ANZ at 9am.
