About Me
I come from a long line of gardening enthusiasts and thought it was about time that I got to work on starting my own edible garden on New years Day 2014.

I have a many varieties of tomatoes and chillis in my potted garden along with many other edible and decorative plants.

quite a few plants that are in my garden were traded/given to me by by other members of LFG either as a seed or seedling and are now well established plants that I can now use all year round.

I love to trade plants for different plants and gardening supplies to keep the cost of maintaining a garden to a minimum.

Please feel free to message me if you have items to trade for something that i have in my garden that you would like to have in yours.

Happy Birthday to my garden.

Posted on January 1, 2015 at 18:38 3 Comments

On this day 1 year ago I decided to start gardening more in 2014. So my partner and I set off to find the things we would need to make a food garden.

With alot of hard work we turned out tiny yard into a beautiful garden.

In my first year as a gardener I have learnt many lessons thanks to trials and quite a few errors and from the advice of my LFG friends.

Sadly my job in the last 6 months has ment that I had very little time in Logan to spend tending to my… Continue

I need a new home for my Plants

Posted on June 2, 2014 at 8:40 2 Comments

I have accepted a job position in Gladstone and will be doing fly in fly out work but I may be gone for 2 to 4 weeks at a time.

As most of you know I have quite a number and selection of plants which takes alot of effort to care for even for an avid gardener like myself.

Edward has said he would like to keep our garden going while I am away but there is just to much for him to care for on his own.

I have offered some plants to Warren Goodlet for…

I have had such success with my planting that I have more seedlings than I know what to do with so I am giving some away.

I have a few of many varieties of chilli and some Golden Eggplant (about 15) and pak choy and probably some other stuff too but you will have come to check out what I have or ask for something in particular that you are looking for and I can check my lists

I also have an avocado tree about 20/30cm tall and a Lychee Tree that I can…

Thanks Emma-shae, the more Lychee trees the better for pollination success.....having just one tree just does not work because of the nature of how they flower.......like pumpkins!!

I wouldn't mind trying some of your chilli plants, I make my own "Tobasco Sauce" & bottled chilli products etc. I love chilli but I am mostly limited to "Birdseye Chilli"  at the moment. A few different varieties would be very cool! :)
