Logan Food Gardeners is a club that allows people, who love food gardening, to connect both on and then off the internet.
Members are welcome from around the South East Queensland, particularly: Brisbane, Redlands, Ipswich, Gold Coast, Scenic Rim and, of course, Logan.
On the site you can do loads of things such as: post photos or videos, blog, join discussions, make friends, ask questions, post or join events, create or join specialty groups and lots more...
Anyone is welcome from dabblers to the self sufficient; individuals to community gardeners. We are also very keen to have members from different cultures and countries of origin, as we would love to share information about food plants from different regions of the world.
People grow their own food for lots of different reasons, such as: to be more sustainable, eat food without pesticides, eat healthier fresher fruit and veg, lower food miles, exercise, fun, to save money, to grow unusual varieties, to save heritage plants, food security etc
Whatever your reason is for food gardening, it is always more fun if you can share the journey with like minded people. So come and join the conversation, share your love of gardening and connect with people who are just like you.

Logan Food Gardeners empowers our community to grow food together for sustainability, vitality and fulfilment.
Founder, Lyn Buffett, started Logan Food Gardeners in August 2011, and grew the club to 300 members in 18 months. In March 2013 LFG became an incorporated association and by so doing Lyn gave control of the club over to its members.
