Come and watch Millen Farm’s resident farmer Arran create a garden bed from scratch. In this workshop you don’t just get told how to do it, you get to see it being done!
This workshop is $65 per person and tickets available via Eventbrite.

This workshop is especially suited to the new gardener wanting to start a veggie garden using all the techniques demonstrated in the previous workshops.
You will learn how to:
scope out and plan your new veggie bed;
incorporate irrigation into your bed in a functional and cost effective way.
plan and budget for your veggie bed to maximise growth and minimise cost over the life of your bed and its harvest;
fast track nutrient rich soils and encourage beneficial insects into your garden beds using good design and planning
The knowledge you will take away:
The elements of veggie bed design and build, incorporating how to maximise growth and harvest into the future.
In addition, you will meet a lot of other people who share the same passion of growing organic food in abundance.
