Event Description

Dear Logan Food Gardeners Member

 

LFG exists to create a supportive community of people who, like you, enjoy growing food.  Together we can grow so much more, as we learn from each other; share plants and seeds; and support each other on the journey.  If you like what LFG is and you want to help it keep ticking along, come and join the team at the annual General Meeting on Tuesday 17 April…… 

The positions that are called for will be:

 

Committee positions:

  • President (currently Lyn Buffett)
  • Treasurer (currently Greg McQueen)
  • Secretary (currently Mary Perryn)

 

Team member positions: (Is this what we decided to all these?) I am not sure if I have this correct.

  • Events team
    • Event finder – finding new gardens or other venues for us to visit (currently vacant)
    • Event coordinator -  checks that other people’s tasks have been completed e.g. messages have gone out, risk assessment complete, equipment is at the venue, registration person confirmed (currently vacant)
    • Risk assessment and garden visit checklist person (currently Anne Harris)
    • Posting event on website and to Facebook (currently Catherine Allinson)
    • Monthly member messaging for events (Currently Kate Cuff)
  • Member approvals (currently Barbara Liskus)
  • Marketing (vacant)
  • Fund raising (vacant)

I am pleased to advise that the AGM was successful and the following positions have been filled:

Committee positions:
