Join us at Therese’s place to see the beautiful haven she has created for her family and the wildlife over nearly 30 years.
She has Jaboticaba, bananas, passionfruit vines, mango, mulberry and a citrus trees and a vast array of herbs and vegetables intermixed in the 5000m2 garden. The low maintenance garden flowers all year round to provide food for the bees and butterflies. Therese uses the plants from garden to do weaving and eco dyeing and will share her process as she takes us on a tour of her artistic garden and studio.
This will be the last garden visit for 2021 so to celebrate the end of the year please bring a gift from your garden or home for our raffle/secret Santa and food to share. There will be tea and coffee after the garden tour.
Please wear comfortable non-slip supportive closed in footwear. There are parts of the garden and the studio that are not wheelchair accessible.
Children are welcome, but you must sign them in when you arrive, so we have a record of them attending.
Please book your tickets through Eventbrite.
Your contribution of $5 per person will help Logan Food Gardeners' Inc. to cover its costs.
