Join us at Doug’s place to see what he has achieved in just five years with a bit of blood, sweat and tears. See an amazing collections of subtropical fruit trees, vegetables and herbs. Doug grows wormwood and tansy as a natural method for worming his chickens and he also has quails.
He has jack fruit, jaboticaba, logan berries, young berries, soursop and mango planted and that is just in his driveway.
Doug can prove that you do not need a lot of space to grow food and has produced 22kg of sweet potato from one 400L bag. He also grows his Star fruit bags.
Please bring along:
- things to share: excess produce, seeds, seedlings, plant material
- your own afternoon tea

There will be a contribution box at the event and your contribution of between $3 and $5 per person will help Logan Food Gardeners' Inc. to cover its costs.
