Welcome. My block is a 'battleaxe' shape so I don't have street frontage and can use my full quarter acre for foraging. It's roughly zoned into an orchard, veg patch and a few 'soul gardens' (flowers).
Over the last 30 years I've planted lots of 'living compost' (and killed most of them) so now have about 80 permanent or semi permanent fruit and veg plants as well as heaps of annuals in between.
Although some of the trees are quite mature, a series of 'incidents', including retiring, meant a major revamp about 5 years ago so much of it is still in the 'death or glory' phase.
My strategies for coping with being lazy and disorganised - and now getting old and decrepit as well. Although the block is sloped, (but not as bad as Lynn's) it's designed to be accessible for wheelie walkers and probably wheelchairs with a bit of help.
There is parking for about 5 cars on the property but it's probably best to reserve them for people with mobility issues or people delivering heavy items. The court is short and fairly steep but there is plenty of flat street parking on Hailer street beside the school.
RSVP - please RSVP so that we know you are coming and we can contact you if the event is cancelled.
Parking - Plenty of off street parking
Kids and partners are welcome. Children must stay with you or you must be watching them at all times.
