Happy New Food Gardening Year!
Come and join your like-minded food gardening friends for a garden tour, cuppa tea and a chat, hosted by Angie Hill.
This is a typical sized suburban back yard, but is aything but typical. Angie has only been here for three years, but has created something special already.
The garden starts in the driveway with citrus trees in pots. As you progress toward the back yard, your eyes are drawn to a yellow guava and Loquart tree.
Upon entering the backyard, your senses are overwhelmed by an eclectic garden with an amazing variety of fruit trees, flowering plants, Asian greens and herbs.
For anyone with a typical suburban backyard who is thinking that it's too small or doesn't know where to start, this garden is a MUST SEE.
Please remember to bring along:
Your contribution of between $3 and $5 per person helps Logan Food Gardeners Inc to cover its costs.
Please RSVP
Partners and children are welcome, but please do not bring dogs or other pets to events, except where prior approval has been given by the events committee.
Look forward to seeing you there :-)

We enjoyed Angie's garden very much. It's fantastic to incorporate growing herbs amongst other plants. I love the umbrellas in some of the raised beds. How clever and creative! Thanks Angie for hosting. :)

Looking forward to our first event of the year and a great garden visit :-)
Hi Julie, as Liz said, an interest in food gardening is all that is required , and if the crop swaps are not suitable then the Garden visits would be as you can maintain a connection to like minders :-) Always welcome at crop swap with your gold coins. and if you really want to grow food still, you could perhaps pair up with someone who has space to offer, we could put the word out to see whats available :-)
Thanks for that Liz. Won't see you at the next Crop Swap, cause it looks like you have to be elsewhere, but will catch up later in the year.
Hi Louise, Not sure if I should still be a member. I've moved into an over 55's village, have no garden and can't contribute with produce etc.
thanks for your rsvp robyn, drive safe :-)
Hi, the address has been uploaded now :-)
