I'm attending a wedding in Toowoomba that weekend so won't be able to participate.

So sorry about this but I didn't have a decision in the date for wedding.

Not sure if this is where you want this but this is basically what I put down on lyn’s survey. Not very fit, but hope i can can help somewhere.

Sorry about taking so long to reply, only just got the next months program sorted. Taken a long time to think about what I can talk about. I’m not an expert in anything, just been muddling around for a very long time.  Mostly along perma culture lines for the last 40 years. .
I can’t stand in one place for too long, but could sit and chat to people, maybe with a small table or something to put things on. Or maybe a short general talk with a microphone.
Maybe talk about going from a bare bit of ground to a jar of marmalade. With photos and samples
Or I could talk about basic practical permaculture with photos and samples of how my basically permaculture mess developed over the last 30 years.
I could bring photos of my foraging type muddle of a garden, and maybe some samples of root like ginger or citrus or bananas or whatever might be ripe by then.
Or maybe a series of photos of my orchard starting with rainforest, clear fell, woodchip wasteland, new orchard, intensive weed farm, to semi mature orchard. Demonstrating that any obstical can be overcome.
Or I could talk about making jams and pickles. Have won prizes in the past but don’t do much anymore because nobody eats sugar these days, it’s all stir fries.
Or do as I say, not as I did - 50 years mistakes!
Or maybe just the photos and written explanations that could go on a whiteboard.
Or anything else you can think of.
I’m not fit enough to do much heavy lifting for setting up or cleaning up etc but could bring all my own stuff, apart from a whiteboard.
